Several thousand people gathered in Dublin City centre today for a national demonstration in support of Palestine.

The demonstration was organised by the Irish Palestine Solidarity Campaign, with a march from the Garden of Remembrance to the Dáil, where a rally took place.

More than 10,000 people took part in the protest, which is the 21st such national demonstration to have taken place since October 2023.

The demonstration, supported by more than 160 Irish civil society groups, marked three years of war in Gaza.

Those gathered heard from a number of speakers including IPSC Chair Zoë Lawlor and Palestinian human rights activist Talha Al Ali.
