Over 1,000 take part in Wildlife Trail Run at Vandalur

Around 1,200 people participated in the Wildlife Trail Run 2026 organised by Arignar Anna Zoological Park (AAZP) at Vandalur on Sunday (October 4, 2026) as part of Wildlife Week celebrations.
An official release said that the 5-km run was flagged off by Kakarla Usha, Additional Chief Secretary, Environment, Climate Change and Forests Department, along with senior Forest Department officials and AAZP Director Ritto Cyriac. Participants took a pledge to protect wildlife and conserve nature before the run.
