Governor Alex Otti says his administration remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote unity, cultural preservation and community development in the state. Otti disclosed this on Saturday in Aba during the ₦500 million launch and fundraising for the acquisition of land for the construction of a Heritage Centre by the Association of Isiala Ngwa Sons and Daughters. He said, “My administration is focused on building a prosperous, inclusive and development-driven state where every community will have opportunities to thrive. “My administration also remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote unity, cultural preservation and community development.” Represented by his Chief of Staff, Pastor Caleb Ajagba, Otti described the proposed Heritage Centre as “a noble and visionary project that would serve as a rallying point for Isiala Ngwa people, preserve their rich cultural heritage and strengthen the bond among sons and daughters of the area. He maintained that “community-driven development efforts complement government s agenda of fostering social cohesion and sustainable growth” and called on the group to intensify the mobilisation of more Isiala Ngwa indigenes into the association in order to strengthen its membership base and harness the collective potential of its people.
