Osinachi Ohale retires from Nigeria national team

--> In Nigeria, 34-year-old defender Osinachi Ohale announced the end of her international career after 16 years with the women’s national team. She announced this in a farewell post on Instagram, Premium Times Nigeria reports .

Ohale made her Nigeria national team debut in 2010 and played 86 matches for the team. She featured at four Women’s World Cups — in 2011, 2015, 2019 and 2023 — and took part in seven editions of the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.
