OPM and global acts share the stage at first LaLaLa Fest Manila

MANILA, Philippines - Original Pilipino Music (OPM) artists took center stage at the first-ever LaLaLa Fest Manila, held at the World Trade Center in Pasay City on Aug. 21.
Alternative rock band fitterkarma kicked off the local lineup as the first Filipino act to perform at the music festival, following performances by international artists Kiki, Hoa and Isyana Sarasvati.
"Mabuhay ang OPM, hanggang kamatayan! Maraming salamat! Buhay na buhay ang musikang Pilipino dahil sa inyo," the band said before performing its hit song, Pag-Ibig ay Kanibalismo II.
OPM bands Dilaw and Over October gave fans all the feels as they wrapped up their first LaLaLa Fest performances with their respective hits, Uhaw and Ikot. Saan hitmaker Maki also surprised fans by bringing out singer-actor James Reid for their Tagalog-English love song, Luck.
