Streaming platform Netflix announced the release date of its upcoming series, Operation Safed Sagar , on Saturday (July 11, 2026). The patriotic action-drama will be released on the streamer on August 7.
Directed by Oni Sen and created by Abhijeet Singh Parmar and Kushal Srivastava, the series stars Siddharth, Jimmy Shergill, Abhay Verma, Dia Mirza, Prajakta Koli , Adil Hussain, Mihir Ahuja, Taaruk Raina, Arnav Bhasin and Amrita Bagchi.
Its teaser was unveiled to make the announcement, giving a glimpse into the high-octane world of the show, which is set against the backdrop of the 1999 Kargil war and tells the story of Golden Arrows Squadron of the Indian Air Force. They conducted air operations at high altitudes which helped the Indian army to tackle Pakistani forces during the war. The teaser shows visuals from the war as pilots are seen getting training and engaging in action.
