A one-year-old girl was killed after she was run over by a car in an apartment parking area at Dollars Scheme Colony near Someshwara Temple in Madivala on Saturday.

Prakash Pandey was living in the apartment with his wife and two daughters, aged six and one. He was working as a security guard in one of the flats in the apartment.

On Saturday around 12.30 p.m., Pandey was cleaning a parked vehicle. He seated his daughter near the gate. The flat owner’s son, identified as Rahil Javed, 19, allegedly sought Pandey’s help to take a parked car out from the parking area.
