Bharath Dharma Jana Sena (BDJS) State president Tushar Vellappally on Friday called ‘One nation, One election’ a necessity of the times and a means to catapult the country to be among the most developed in the world.
Speaking at the State council meeting of his party, which is a constituent of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), Mr. Vellappally said development and welfare in Kerala were dependent on the comprehensive implementation of the welfare-development schemes of the Centre in the State. The meeting was convened to revitalise the party units and lay the groundwork for the Lok Sabha elections of 2029.
