One more person held in murder of SI in Nungambakkam

The Greater Chennai Police have arrested another person in connection with the murder of a Sub-Inspector (SI) of the Armed Reserve Motor Transport Wing, after his wife was arrested in the case.

On Saturday, based on information received by the police control room, a police team rushed to a house on First Street, Lake Area, Nungambakkam, and found the body of a man with burn injuries. He was identified as Raj, an SI attached to the Armed Reserve Motor Transport Wing of the Greater Chennai Police. The body was recovered and a case was initially registered under the suspicious death section at the Nungambakkam police station.
