Five people were killed in road accidents across Israel between Saturday and Sunday, including a woman in her 50s who died in a four-vehicle pile-up car accident near Atlit on Sunday morning.The accident occured on Route 2 near Atlit. Magen David Adom paramedics pronounced her dead and treated six other people at the scene, including a man in his 60s who was seriously injured but conscious with a head injury. Five others were lightly injured.The crash caused a traffic jam stretching for several kilometers on northbound Route 2 before the Zichron Ya'acov Interchange.
