A 40-year-old man was killed in a road accident after the two-wheeler he was riding was hit by a private van at Padiyanallur village near Sholinghur town in Ranipet on Sunday.

Police said the deceased has been identified as G. Duraisamy, an agricultural worker. He is survived by his wife and two children.
