One killed as car crashes into bus stop on Mannuthy–Wadakkancherry highway in Keralam

One person was killed and three others were seriously injured after a driver lost control of the car and crashed into a bus stop at Vaniyampara on the Mannuthy–Wadakkancherry National Highway early Sunday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Abdul Razak of Pottimadam, Vaniyampara, who was waiting for a bus at the time of the accident. His wife, Shakeela, and Vaniyampara natives Pradeep and Manikandan sustained injuries in the crash.
The accident occurred at around 6 a.m. on the carriageway from Palakkad towards Thrissur. The car reportedly veered out of control and crashed into the bus stop where the victims were waiting.
The injured persons have been taken to hospital. They are reported to have sustained serious injuries.
