A devotee K. Yesu (46) reportedly died of cardiac arrest while dancing in Vinayaka Nimajjanam at Tadepalligudem.
The incident occurred while Yesu was participating in the immersion procession and dancing with his friends on Saturday (September 19, 2026). He was rushed to a hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead.
In another incident, three devotees suffered injuries when two groups clashed in Jangam Bazaar, at Sattenapalli in Palnadu district, during Ganesh Nimajjanam, on Sunday. The injured were shifted to hospital and the police brought the situation under control, the devotees said.
