One clinic, 15 jobs, one dream: Inside Lejoy Mathato’s mission to help women rediscover themselves
South African television personality Lethabo 'Lejoy' Mathato has transitioned into entrepreneurship by opening the Eliora Aesthetics Clinic. Her mission is to empower women through beauty and self-care, drawing on her personal experiences with professional and emotional challenges.
Why it matters
It showcases the intersection of personal branding, entrepreneurship, and the growing wellness industry in South Africa.
Poised, elegant, effortlessly stylish and quietly self-assured, Lethabo “Lejoy” Mathato carries the kind of confidence that cannot be bought or borrowed. It is the confidence of a woman who has weathered life’s storms, embraced every lesson and emerged stronger, wiser and more certain of who she is. As South Africa enters Women’s Month, Lejoy is proving that one of the greatest gifts a woman can give herself is confidence. While many know the award-winning television personality, broadcaster, entrepreneur and reality TV star from their screens, today she is quietly building something far bigger than fame.
Just over a year after opening the doors of Eliora Aesthetics Clinic and Beauty & Hair Studio, Lejoy is helping women rediscover themselves through beauty, wellness and self-care.
Behind the elegant upmarket treatment rooms nestled in the north-east of Glean Austin Joburg, lies a dream that took four years to shape.
