On Kore’s 79th birthday leaders hail his contribution to north Karnataka

MP for Belagavi and former Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar said that Padma Shri awardee Prabhakar Kore’s contributions to the fields of education, healthcare, cooperation and industry over the past four decades had played a significant role in the development of North Karnataka.
He was speaking at a mega felicitation programme organised to mark former chairman of KLE Society and former Rajya Sabha member Mr. Kore’s 79th birthday on the KLE Educational Institution campus in Ankali iof Belagavi district, which was attended by thousands of people on Saturday.
Mr. Shettar said that Mr. Kore through his dedicated service to the KLE Society had brought national and international recognition to Belagavi. And lakhs of students had benefited from institutions established by the KLE Society. Both State and Union governments should make use of Mr. Kore’s experience for the benefit of society, he said.
