Omaheke governor Nganate encourages top officials to use state hospitals
Omaheke governor Pijoo Nganate is urging government officials to utilize local public healthcare facilities following recent renovations and upgrades. The governor highlighted specific investments in infrastructure, including power generators and plumbing, to improve service delivery in the region.

Omaheke governor Pijoo Nganate has told government officials to use public healthcare facilities in the Omaheke region, since they have been upgraded.
Speaking during his state of region address on Monday, he said the facilities are clean and service delivery has improved.
“I’m going there for my medical treatment, and I want government officials to go test the facilities out,” he said.
He said the Ministry of Health and Social Services has maintained, renovated and rehabilitated healthcare infrastructure across the region to improve the safety and reliability of healthcare delivery.
Nganate said Gobabis District Hospital’s main entrance has been rehabilitated under a targeted budget of N$35 575, while N$14 914 was spent to develop and install washing lines and extensive glazing works at the facility.
