A 21-year-old Computer Engineering student at Baze University, Abuja, Isah Barde-Auwal from Kano State, has invented QX Alpha, a humanoid robot designed to solve real-world problems.

Barde-Auwal, a final-year student at the institution, disclosed this in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Monday in Kano.

He said the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) awarded him a scholarship because of his potential in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and robotics under its Technology Innovation Support Programme.

According to him, he invented a humanoid exoskeleton remote-controlled robot in 2022, which he presented to the NITDA Director-General. He added that the innovation earned him the scholarship.
