THE management of Okapya Liner Transport has issued a public apology and condolences following a fatal road accident in Ondangwa on Tuesday, in which one person died on the spot and six others were injured.

One of Okapya Liner’s Iveco buses veered into roadside vendors. In addition to the fatality and six injuries, the crash damaged vendors’ goods and two other vehicles.

According to police, the bus driver escaped without injury.

In a statement released this week, Okapya Liner said it was “deeply saddened by the loss of a life and the injuries sustained by six people who are currently receiving medical attention.”
