Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi, has expressed confidence that the All Progressives Congress (APC) will secure victory in the 2027 Ogun State governorship election, claiming opposition parties will be left without a strong political platform by election day.
Adeola, who is seeking the APC governorship ticket, made the statement on Wednesday at an interfaith prayer organised by the party’s Campaign Council in Ogun State.
The event, themed “Victory with God,” brought together Christian and Muslim faithful who prayed for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the APC and the party’s candidates ahead of the 2027 elections.
