Why it matters
It addresses concerns regarding public sector recruitment integrity and the verification of credentials in government hiring.
Allegations of irregularities reported in the media regarding the selection of candidates through sports quota for the Mega DSC-2025 are false, said State School Education department Commissioner Tamim Ansaria and Sports Authority of Andhra Pradesh (SAAP) Vice-Chairperson and Managing Director S. Bharani.
Addressing the media at the Secretariat on Monday, Ms. Tamim Ansaria said each case was being examined on the basis of official records, applicable rules and verification from the concerned authorities. The two officials said that action would be taken if any certificate was found to be fraudulent or any candidate was found ineligible, while stressing that genuine candidates should not face injustice merely because of allegations.
