Real Madrid have published an official announcement attacking La Liga president Javier Tebas, who publicly addressed the controversy that occurred during Sunday’s match against Atlético de Madrid.

In light of the statements made by the president of LaLiga, Javier Tebas Medrano, Real Madrid C. F. wishes to express the following:

Our club considers it intolerable that the president of LaLiga uses his institutional position to continue discrediting and attacking Real Madrid in the manner he does during each of his public appearances. It is very concerning that someone responsible for representing and protecting the interests of all LaLiga clubs remains obsessively focused on Real Madrid, turning our club into the constant target of his public attacks.
