Larry Ellison, one of the richest men in the world, and his son David, wanted to buy Warner Bros. Discovery. A year later, they are getting it. That suit gives Larry and David Ellison all but the final go-ahead to finalize the $110 billion deal they started pursuing a year ago. The Ellisons had two key advantages when they started out: Nearly endless money, and a line to the Trump White House. It's not a surprise that they got their way. One of the world's richest men, and his son, wanted to buy one of the most prestigious assets in the media world. Now they have gotten their wish.
