Odisha CM Mohan Charan Majhi meets UAE Minister; woos investors in Dubai

Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Thursday (September 10, 2026) met UAE’s Minister of Economy and Tourism Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri in Dubai, as he wooed investors to set up industrial projects in the eastern State.
“Mr. Majhi, who is on a five-day tour to the UAE, held investor outreach programmes and roadshows on the third day of his visit,” officials said.
“The discussions focussed on strengthening economic ties between Odisha and the UAE, with particular emphasis on exploring new investment opportunities in the State,” they said.
“During the discussion, the Chief Minister highlighted Odisha's “favourable business environment, strong industrial ecosystem and investment potential across key sectors”, and invited UAE-based investors to explore opportunities in the State,” an official statement said.
