Object localization in images via fusion of SFM and YOLO

This study introduces a new framework that combines Structure from Motion (SfM) algorithms with an improved YOLOv8 model to precisely locate objects in 3D space using 2D images. The method was tested on UAV-captured vehicle footage and proved effective for geospatial coordinate acquisition.
