The Directorate General of Hydrocarbons (DGH) has extended the deadline for submitting bids for deepwater and ultra-deepwater blocks under the 10th and 11th rounds of the Open Acreage Licensing Policy (OALP) by nearly two months until November 15.

The revised deadline replaces the earlier September 17 cut-off. Bidding for onland and shallow-water blocks under the two rounds has already closed.

The 10th OALP round was launched in April last year, while the 11th round was opened in March this year. The latest extension marks the sixth for the 10th round and the second for the 11th round.
