Winton Land has been suspended from NZX following the company’s board exodus.

NZX Regulation (NZ RegCo) advised that it had exercised its discretion and suspended the quotation of ordinary shares of Winton Land on Monday morning.

“NZ RegCo considers that a suspension is in the best interests of the market, given the intent and objectives of the NZX Listing Rules governance requirements,” NZ RegCo said in a statement to the NZX.

The suspension follows the company’s announcements last week that three of its directors, including two independent directors, had resigned with effect from August 31.

As a result of those resignations, the board currently only has one independent director, Glen Tupuhi.
