Nyoro unveils first set of People’s Party officials, Walubengo gets secretary general post

Nyoro announced the appointments after a meeting in which party leaders discussed issues affecting the country and reaffirmed their intention to work with other opposition parties.

“People’s Party is pleased to announce the First set of designated Party officials as we steer the Party forward,” Nyoro said.

Walubengo, from Nairobi County, will serve as secretary general, while Riziki Makokha from Busia County was named deputy party leader.

Samora K'alosi from Homa Bay County is the designated chairperson, with Mwanamisi Swaleh from Kwale County appointed vice chairperson.
