People’s Party of Kenya (PPK) leader Ndindi Nyoro has told the Kenya Kwanza administration to respect retired President Uhuru Kenyatta and stop what he termed a campaign of insults against him as political parties intensify their mobilisation ahead of the 2027 General Election.
Nyoro, who is also Kiharu MP, said Uhuru remained a political leader with a right to participate in public affairs and should not be targeted simply because he had left State House.
He spoke during a meet-the-people tour in Kiria-ini and Kangema towns in Murang’a on Sunday, a week after unveiling PPK following his departure from the ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
