A weekend nor'easter that brought heavy rain and wind to New York City is beginning to dissipate, though minor coastal flooding remains possible. The National Weather Service expects conditions to improve throughout the week.

As the weekend nor’easter comes to a close, the National Weather Service said lingering rain and wind could cause minor flooding into Monday evening.
According to NWS Meteorologist Bryan Ramsey, New Yorkers should expect light rain Monday but the city will be drying up throughout the week after.
“ We have the system still lingering in the area,” Ramsey said. “It is far weaker than it was before, but you'll continue to see drizzle to light rain chances continue into the day … Any lingering impacts would be a couple spots where we could see some more minor flood benchmarks being hit for coastal flooding.”
Ramsey said that would align with the Monday morning to afternoon high-tide cycle on the city’s beachfronts.
