NTPC Simhadri marked National Sports Day from August 28-30 with a three-day celebration promoting community fitness, according to a release on Monday.
Aligned with the Fit India Movement theme “Khelega Bharat, Jeetega Bharat”, events included swimming, throwball, and a closing cyclothon honouring hockey legend Major Dhyan Chand. Head of Project Ayaskanta Jena and senior officials presided over the conclusion event, awarding winners and reinforcing the station’s commitment to an active lifestyle.
