NSE Q1 Results: Profit rises 7% YoY to Rs 3,120 crore; revenue up 9%

National Stock Exchange of India reported a 7% year-on-year rise in consolidated profit after tax for the June quarter, helped by higher transaction charges and strong operating margins. The exchange posted consolidated profit after tax of Rs 3,120 crore for Q1FY27, compared with Rs 2,924 crore in the same quarter last year. Consolidated total income rose 9% year-on-year (YoY) to Rs 5,252 crore from Rs 4,798 crore.The results come as NSE is preparing for its proposed initial public offering. The exchange has filed a draft red herring prospectus with Sebi.NSE's consolidated revenue from transaction charges rose to Rs 3,623 crore in Q1FY27 from Rs 3,154 crore in Q1FY26. Revenue from data connectivity charges stood at Rs 258 crore.
