According to the Indian Embassy in China, the two discussed ways to strengthen peace and tranquillity in the border areas and further improve India China relations across economic, political and multilateral forums, in line with the consensus reached by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping.Chinese Ambassador to India Xu Feihong said Han highlighted the momentum in bilateral ties, noting that Modi and Xi had met twice over the past two years in Kazan and Tianjin and reached a series of important understandings.
