If last week was a dream start for the Warriors Women, then this was a nightmare they’ll want to quickly forget.
The Raiders dominated the game early, producing two very strong sets to open the match with the second resulting in a try for Elise Simpson in the corner after the ball was whipped to the wing following runs through the middle.
The home side threw all they had at the Warriors in suffocating waves of attack, but their strength and points mostly came through their outside backs.
Canberra used the same tactics again and scored a second try almost immediately in the opposite corner by Kiwi Mackenzie Wiki.
The Warriors struggled to touch the ball in the first half and didn’t help themselves when they did.
