shares Share article On the day their inaugural jersey was unveiled, the Perth Bears have been given a major boost with salary cap concessions confirmed by the NRL.
A jumper of red and black hoops was held up by head coach Mal Meninga on Friday afternoon, paying tribute to the North Sydney Bears’ first jumper back in 1908 as a foundation member of the NSWRL’s top flight.

But perhaps more important for the club is a report from The Sydney Morning Herald that the Bears will receive two special cap dispensations, in a bid to help the club land marquee talent for their 2027 roster and beyond.
