NPP elder urges national executives to address disunity in Sunyani East
An NPP elder has called for national leadership intervention to resolve internal disputes in the Sunyani East constituency. The party's local elections are currently stalled due to a court injunction filed by disqualified aspirants.

Mr Yaw Dabie Appiah Mensah, a member of the Bono Regional Council of Elders of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has asked for urgent intervention from the national executives to address emerging internal strife and bickering in the Sunyani East constituency.
He said it was rather unfortunate and disappointing that delegates in Sunyani East could not participate in the ongoing NPP internal elections in the constituency due to a court injunction placed on the elections.
The Sunyani High Court Two injuncted constituency executive elections in Sunyani East, denying the delegates the opportunity to vote to elect new executives for the constituency.
The order of the court followed a suit filed by Mr Maxwell Mahama and Mr Prince Baidoo Worae, aspirants who filed their nominations to contest the elections.
