NPDCL officials told to complete works in 37 model solar villages by month-end
Officials from the Telangana Renewable Energy Development Corporation have directed the Northern Power Distribution Company to finalize solar infrastructure in 37 model villages by the end of the month. The project focuses on grid synchronization and the installation of rooftop solar panels, with future plans to include solar-powered agricultural pumps.

Vice Chairman and Managing Director of the Telangana Renewable Energy Development Corporation (TGREDCO) Md. Musharraf Faruqui has instructed the authorities of Northern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Ltd (TGNPDCL) to complete works in all Model Solar Villages by the month-end.
In a video conference held from the TGREDCO office here on Tuesday with the officials of NPDCL, Mr. Faruqui reviewed the progress of 37 Model Solar Villages. The meeting was attended by CMD of NPDCL K. Varum Reddy and other officials/engineers of the Discom from Hanumakonda.
Mr. Faruqui asked the superintending engineers to ensure continuous coordination among REDCO, TGNPDCL and the implementing agencies so that all works were completed within the stipulated timeline. He instructed officials to immediately resolve all minor issues at the field level and complete grid synchronisation, net metering and other technical processes without any delay.
