NEW DELHI: Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) on Wednesday said the reported data breach involving the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Project pertains only to conventional Balance of Plant (BoP) facilities and not to any nuclear safety or security systems.This comes after news agency Reuters reported that a hacker group named World Leaks posted on the dark web what it claimed were more than 19,000 sensitive files related to the Kudankulam Nuclear Power Plant in Tamil Nadu.NPCIL said the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contract for the Common Services–Balance of Plant (BoP) package was awarded to Reliance Infrastructure Ltd.
