Novak Djokovic is "feeling good" ahead of his first match at the China Open, which represents his first event since the US Open.

Djokovic is the sixth seed at the China Open in Beijing, where he'll play for the first time since falling in the first round of the US Open at the very end of August. Mariano Navone beat Djokovic in a huge upset in New York, where the Serbian also played one mixed doubles match with WTA superstar Aryna Sabalenka.

The 24-time Grand Slam champion has now offered an update on his fitness ahead of his opener in Beijing, with Djokovic playing Nuno Borges in his first match. The ATP 500 tournament, which runs alongside the Japan Open, also features top five players Alexander Zverev and Felix Auger-Aliassime.
