Nothing Brings New Phone (4b) & Ear (3a) To Malaysia

Nothing has announced the launch of its new Phone (4b) and Ear (3a) devices in Malaysia, with sales beginning on September 20. The phone features AI integration with Google Gemini and ChatGPT, while the earbuds offer advanced noise cancellation and long battery life.
Why it matters
The release highlights the expansion of Nothing's hardware ecosystem and the increasing integration of generative AI tools into mid-range smartphones.
Both devices will be available for open sales starting 20 September across online platforms and physical retail channels nationwide.
Designed as an accessible entry point into the company's hardware ecosystem, the Phone (4b) features a smooth unibody frame paired with the brand's signature Glyph Bar interface. Under the hood, the device runs on a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor, paired with the longest-lasting battery ever fitted inside a Nothing smartphone. Photography is handled by a 50MP camera system equipped with optical and electronic image stabilisation for steady 4K video recording.
The software includes built-in access to Google Gemini and ChatGPT AI tools. To ensure long-term usability, Nothing promises three major Android operating system updates alongside six years of security patches.
