Tunis, Tunisia -July 2026 - Independent developer NewGen Studio today announced that North Hunt will officially launch Version 1.0 on July 13 , coinciding with Steam Social Deduction Fest .
While most social deduction games revolve around hidden identities, North Hunt challenges players to do something different: become a convincing NPC.
Players blend into a living Viking village by fishing, chopping wood, praying, playing music, and mimicking the daily routines of bot villagers all while secretly completing objectives and trying not to reveal themselves.
On the other side, Chiefs carefully observe the village, searching for the smallest suspicious movement before striking the impostors hiding in plain sight.
The result is a multiplayer experience built around observation, deception, trust, and the hilarious moments that happen when someone completely fails to "act normal."
