NOIDA: A court order to pay his former wife Rs 15 lakh, mounting debts and more than Rs 30 lakh spent on the treatment of his prematurely born son are among the circumstances police are examining after software engineer Sambhav Jain, 28, died by suicide at Noida’s Supernova building on Saturday.Jain had paid Rs 7-8 lakh of the court-ordered amount and was due to pay the remaining sum the following month, according to Sector 126 SHO Sumnesh Kumar.His marriage had ended in separation a few months after the birth of his son. The child was born prematurely and spent about a month in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). Police said Jain had borrowed money from friends and family to meet the treatment expenses, which exceeded Rs 30 lakh.Jain worked for a private company in Gurgaon and lived in IMT Manesar.
