A Guwahati man who hacked his wife to death told police he had “no regret” and “no apology” for the killing and threatened to murder a man he described as his wife’s “sugar daddy” if he was released from prison in the future.The accused, identified as Ramanuj Goswami, who surrendered after allegedly killing his wife, Riya Talukder Goswami, made the remarks while being taken into police custody. A video of his statement has since gone viral.The incident came to light on Monday after police received information that the couple, who lived in Hatigaon after they got married about six months ago, were not responding to repeated calls from their families.A police team reached the residence and found Riya dead.
