NEW DELHI: Ahead of the Monsoon Session, Delhi Police on Sunday said no permission has been sought or granted for the proposed march to Parliament called by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) on July 20, warning that any unauthorised gathering would invite legal action.In a statement, the police said prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), the equivalent of the erstwhile Section 144 of the CrPC, are in force across the New Delhi district.Under these restrictions, protest marches, processions, demonstrations and assemblies of five or more persons are prohibited, except at the designated protest site at Jantar Mantar and only with prior permission, the statement said.With the Parliament session beginning on July 20, Delhi Police said elaborate security arrangements have been put in place to ensure public safety, protect vital government installations and provide security to protectees.The police warned that anyone violating the prohibitory orders…
