Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) Krishna Kanth Patil said that permission has been denied for the protest rallies and dharnas planned by the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) on Monday (September 21, 2026). The opposition party intended to organise dharnas against the alleged irregularities in DSC teacher recruitments. The DCP mentioned that BNSS Section 163 and Section 30 of the Police Act are in force, and no police permission has been granted for the protests. He warned that stern action will be taken against violators.
