No overlapping of power between SC, FFC: Federal law minister

Rawalpindi - The debate about overlapping of powers between newly formed Federal Constitutional Court and Supreme Court is baseless as the 27th Constitutional Amendment has made clear the domains of both the courts.
This was stated by Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, Federal Minister for Law and Justice, here on Thursday while addressing a gathering of lawyers at Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) Rawalpindi, where he inaugurated a newly built hall for the lawyers of the division.
The amendment clearly mentioned that FCC will take care of the matters related only to the constitution and constitutional interpretation. As far as the SC id concerned, the court will deal with all other legal matters related to criminal, civil, financial, and family issues.
