NEW DELHI: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday brought out five student protesters who he said were targeted during the Gen Z demonstrations that led to the resignation of Dharmendra Pradhan as Union education minister.Recounting their experiences, the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha said the students were assaulted during the protests and continued to face abuse on social media even after the demonstrations had ended.Addressing the youth of the country, Rahul said they had "done no wrong" and did not need to apologise. He accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of failing to understand the youth's concerns."We had a freewheeling conversation with some of the young protesters. They mentioned to me how they were assaulted, breaten and threatened. I am very proud of them, very proud of what they have done, what thousands of young Indians like them have done.
