Highlighting that the Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) is on the path to profitability, TDP State president and Gajuwaka MLA Palla Srinivasa Rao has said that the NDA government’s objective is to strengthen the PSU further, steering it towards development by enabling it to operate at full capacity.

Mr. Srinivasa Rao participated in a review meeting with RINL CMD M.N.V.S. Prabhakarand MP M. Sribharat.

In a release on Saturday, Mr. Srinivasa Rao said that there was no need for apprehension over the future of the steel plant.

Expressing confidence that the prospects of the plant were bright, he said the issues related to production, financial position of the plant, workers’ concerns and displaced families were discussed in detail with the CMD.
