NEW DELHI: West Bengal chief minister Suvendu Adhikari on Saturday accused his predecessor Mamata Banerjee of faking her injury during the 2021 state assembly elections.Adhikari added that a fresh inquiry would be launched to probe Mamata Banerjee's “false claims” of injury. He claimed that there was no evidence of fracture or dislocation in the-then CM's medical report issued by treating hospital.“Mamata Banerjee faked her leg injury during campaigning in Nandigram in 2021. We have the medical report which stated that there was no evidence of fracture or dislocation.
