‘No doubts’: Lone holdout juror says Lindsay Clancy deliberately killed her 3 kids
The lone holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial has said he had “no doubts” that the Massachusetts mother was criminally responsible for killing her three children, despite the jury remaining deadlocked and forcing a mistrial.According to the BBC, juror Michael P Desronvil said the physical evidence, key witnesses and prosecution's case convinced him that Clancy knew what she was doing and had planned the killings. “I didn’t have any doubts,” he said in a statement issued through his lawyer.A Massachusetts judge declared a mistrial on September 4 after the 12-member jury failed to reach a unanimous verdict following nearly 40 hours of deliberations. Eleven jurors ultimately supported finding Clancy not criminally responsible, while Desronvil remained the sole holdout.Clancy, 36, was accused of killing her three children, Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months, at the family’s Massachusetts home on January 24, 2023.
