No big bash? Marcos marks birthday with zero-balance bills, aid for 175,500 Filipinos

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. thanked Filipinos who sent him birthday greetings, saying his family barely had time to celebrate because of a packed schedule that took him from official activities in Ilocos to an international summit abroad.

In his latest video vlog, Marcos said the family celebration had to take a back seat to official engagements, with the President traveling to India after his activities in Ilocos.

Upon returning to the Philippines, Marcos joined a gathering at the Malacañang grounds with representatives from nearly 98 local government units.

The President said part of his birthday observance was tied to government service programs, including zero-balance billing for patients in 132 hospitals.
